How It Works

This page will explain in a little more detail what to expect in coaching and how the process works.

A potential client can call or email me disclosing the desire for more information or coaching services.

After that, a free introductory session can be scheduled. In this session, Joe and the potential client will go over some basic information about how the coaching works, what types of issues the person may be needing assistance with and trying to resolve, and how I may be able to help.

If the potential client decides to sign up for coaching, there are a few things that need to happen.

  1. I will send you an intake packet with a few files. There are only 3 and they are not very long. One is a program agreement waiver. One is a small intake questionnaire, and one is a quick start guide. These forms are to be filled out prior to the first session.

2. After the paperwork is finished, we can schedule the first session. This is usually about 45 minutes in duration. We will go over questions, problems you may be having, some education, motivation, and recommendations.

3. The basic concept is a weekly session so that the person can build up a healthy self-care program. This may be different for different people. Some may want a motivational check in partner. Some may require education.

It is truly my belief that Health and Happiness require diligence, intelligence, and commitment. This style of coaching is very active. There may be changes to make. Things to learn. Attitudes to fix. This is not a type of program that I just recommend supplements with hopes to resolve whatever problems are going on. I hope to teach people to take responsibility of their own health and happiness and that work ethic is a primary driver of these. There are other factors as well.
